1992

Draco spilopterus laid a total of two clutches of four and one clutch of five eggs. Eggs incubated at 85° F (28° C) with vermiculite used as medium. First clutch (4 eggs) died full term in egg, with malformations observed in two neonates. Second clutch (five eggs) was infertile. Third clutch produced three female and one male neonates after 36 days incubation. Mean SVL = 27.5 mm, TL = 72.3 (Mägdefrau, 1992).

1993

Draco volans laid five eggs on Feb. 16, 1993 at the Dallas Zoo. Incubation temp. unknown. Five neonates hatched after 32 days. Mean SVL = 9 mm, TL = 21 mm, 0.3 g. (Card 1994).

2004

Draco volans laid three eggs on July 24, 2004. Incubation temp. 72-76°F (22.2-24.4° C), 100% humidity, and with moistened vermiculite (1:1 by weight) used as medium. Eggs were placed in an 8 oz deli cup with holes in the lid. Three neonates hatched (including one with a kinked spine) between Sept. 15-16, 2004 (Ferber, 2004).

2005

Draco volans laid nine eggs. Eggs incubated at 77-78.8° F (25-26° C) with vermiculite used as medium. Six neonates hatched after 45 days incubation (Mcclure, 2005).

Draco volans laid four eggs on Feb. 10, 2005. Eggs incubated at 80.1° F (26.72° C) with vermiculite used as medium. Three neonates hatched after 42-45 days incubation (Miller, 2005).

Draco volans laid three eggs on Feb. 10, 2005. Eggs incubated at 80.1° F (26.72° C) with vermiculite used as medium. Three neonates hatched after 47 days incubation (Miller, 2005).

Draco volans laid two unfertile eggs on Feb. 10, 2005. (Miller, 2005).

Draco volans, removed four eggs on March 1, 2005 from eggbound female. Eggs incubated at 80.1° F (26.72° C) with vermiculite used as medium. Only one fertile egg left, should hatch out shortly. (Miller, 2005).
