Intense Herpetoculture was created in April of 2002 by Justyn Miller. I.H. is dedicated to supplying reptile hobbyists, herp specialty outlets, wholesalers, zoos, and educational facilities with quality captive bred & wild caught herps, invertebrates, and rare cichlids. Many of the animals are bred right here at mour facility! Intense Herpetoculture offers both retail and wholesale price lists. I. H. thrives on the concept that captive bred animals not only do better in captivity but will help limit the amount of animals that are taken to from the wild to supply the live animal trade, which more often then not will lead to an unhealthy ecosystem and possible eradication of the species in question from the wild. When we do offer wild caught animals they are acclimated and ready to go. We feel that education is the key to keeping animals successfully and thus we work close by with biologists, veterinarians, other breeders, hobbyists, and exporters to provide the most useful and correct information to date including captive care, natural history, captive reproduction, nomenclature, systematics, etc. We are more than happy to answer any questions about any animals we have for sale.
